The Sun Sentinel is reporting Chad Ochocinco was arrested Saturday night for domestic violence. Chad Johnson wed Evelyn Lozado on July 4, 2012 and has a reality show scheduled to hit VH1 in September called Eve & Ocho.

Police are reporting the incident started over a pack of condoms purchased by Chad Ochocinco. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver has never had an arrest in his professional career. Is Evelyn Lozado Ochocinco already hurting her husband’s career 39 days into their marriage?

The altercation took place in the couple’s apartment but started on their way home from dinner when Evelyn noticed the condom receipt in the back seat of the car, apparently Chad headbutted Evelyn and when police arrived at their home she had visible laceration across her forehead.

According to Chad the argument got heated and the couple “butted heads” by accident however Evelyn is telling authorities it was on purpose and definitely not an accident. Chad is still being held in custody and waiting to be seen by a judge, which can be as late as Monday morning.
