Sad news to learn that Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones definitely will not be a part of any further Love & Hip Hop shows due to issues with Mona Scott Young and several other producers.
Although we did think the same thing with Love and Hip Hop Atlanta , dare I say we are more hooked the second time around.
While Stevie J, Mimi and Joseline’s messy love triangle is currently being aired for the world to see Executive Producer, Mona Scott Young, has been hard at work setting up a new cast for Love & Hip Hop NYC.
So far, producers were able to sign on Consequence and his girlfriend/baby mama, Jen the Pen. Also joining the cast Joe Budden’s ex-girlfriend, Tahiry Jose and a few unknowns: a female rapper named Lore’l (pronounced Loreal like the makeup), Lady Thunder (no idea what she has to do with love or hip hop) and Winter Ramos who is Fabulous ex-assistant/friend.
Filming already started a couple of weeks ago in NYC. The only confirmed cast member from season 1 who might make an appearance is Yandy Smith.
With production still very early, casting could possibly change at any moment.
