Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” We at Newspitter.com’s overall mission is to facilitate awareness and change for a better tomorrow.

Due to the poor economy in America, high unemployment rates has become the greater casualty. While unemployment rates are at an all time high, more and more people are left with the anxiety of being financially weakened. Many are hopelessly stressed by not being able to fend for their families; whereas food, shelter and even clothes to cover backs are hard to obtain.

Many in these huge setbacks feel alone, but truth is they’re not alone. We are the people and during trying times in our communities, it takes the hands of many to make a difference.

Today, America’s economic state is so detrimental to the American way of life that there is no telling who’s next to be laid off. Maybe next time it just might be you!

Mission

As part of Newspitter’s mission to help better our community, we decided to put our heads and hands together by donating a few items to the nearest Salvation Army in our area. We donated anything we can get our hands on that was in good condition and that we felt can be more valuable to others than ourselves such as books, clothes, shoes, toys etc.

It didn’t require much and we encourage everyone to find it in their hearts to do the same in helping those who are less fortunate and lack some of the most simplest resources such as the ones given by Newspitter. Whether it’s to volunteer at food pantries, spread positive awareness in your community, or simply give items to the Salvation Army, your effort and your work in your community will go very far.

Helping Families 

A family somewhere would be more than grateful and appreciative of your help and while doing so, you just might spark the mind of another individual or a group to do the same. If we do not help one another, all hope will be lost for a better tomorrow.
