James Holmes is reportedly a 24-year-old white American male, the Associated Press reported on Friday morning. The young man opened fire around 12:30 a.m. MDT Friday morning at the Century Aurora 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colo.
Law enforcement officers told ABC News that Holmes was dressed in all black and wearing a bulletproof vest and gas mask.
