They say that a dog is a man’s best friend. I don’t know who came up with that saying nor do I understand it but I guess it has to do with the fact that dogs are loyal, kind, make you happy, etc. But what happens when said man takes his friendship with the dog a bit too far? It’s bad enough to find out as a wife that your husband cheated on you but how do you even explain he cheated on you with a dog? Poor Kelly Thacker unfortunately found herself in this situation not too long ago.
Kelly has refused to go to bed with her now ex-husband after she found him having sex with her dog. According to reports, Nicholas Saunders, Kelly’s husband, had whistled Sasha (the dog) to his ex-wife’s bedroom. Kelly, who was attempting to sleep downstairs was in absolute disbelief when she opened the door and walked in the surprising scene. Kelly “found it difficult to believe” that she had just walked in on her ex-husband “clearly trying” to have sex with Sasha, prosecutor Frank Abbott stated. He went on to mention, “ Ms Thacker just couldn’t believe what she was seeing to start off with so she looked away and then looked again.”
Upset and in shock, Kelly only did what she could do that point and “in no uncertain terms” told Nicholas to leave her house. How did this even happen? Well Kelly and Nicholas married in 1999 but separated after only being together for three years. After being kicked out by his girlfriend, Nicholas went to visit his ex-wife. Surprisingly enough Kelly agreed for him to spend the night at her place only under the conditions that she would be sleeping downstairs and she would not be having sex with him. They spoke briefly for a bit before before going upstairs to her bedroom, Kelly sitting on the bed as Nicholas undressed and got into it. Later on Kelly claimed she heard Nicholas whistling the dog to go upstairs. She followed it up and then saw her husband having sex with Sasha, Mr. Abbott said.
When Nicholas was arrested, he denied any type of incident had occurred and even went on to say that the dog had gotten on the bed when he was naked and had woken him up by licking his face.
The prosecutor stated, “It is not only something unusual but it is also something which you might find repulsive. “It is something which of course is wrong and criminal to all right-thinking people.” Nicholas has pleaded not guilty to having intercourse with an animal. He was found guilty and now awaiting for sentencing.
I don’t even know who’s more scarred, the dog or his ex-wife but I feel for them. How do you think this case should be tried out in court and what would be a just punishment for this?
