I can’t believe my eyes! Lauryn Hill why? One of our queens of Hip-hop is being hauled off to prison for tax evasion?! Apparently she has 3 counts of failure to file taxes in 2005, 2006, 2007 when she earned well over 1.8 million. She was charged earlier this month with tax evasion and plead guilty to the charges today.

The judge ask Lauryn if she intentionally and unwillingly failed to file her taxes, she replied yes!! She now faces 3 years in prison and after serving her prison time Uncle Sam can fine Lauryn up to $75,000. Hill has been released on an $150,000 bail and we will know further about her sentencing this November.

Lauryn this is a bad look on you but I love you still! Hopefully next time you will be mindful of filing your taxes to avoid this ugly mess with Uncle Sam.
