On Sunday, March 18, Yonkers native rising recording artist/showcase President, Ace of Hearts launched his mixtape release party. Hundreds came out to support his mission to share his passion in music while also showcasing other motivated talents as well. The event was held at the Mount Vernon’s Macedonia Hall, where it also served a huge mission in bringing creative minds together,spreading unity and positivity in the community.
The night included a fashion show displaying designer, Nickeshia Angel Dacres’ vibrant apparel, La Princess Couture, live performances, Ace hearts music showcase competition, raffle ticket giveaways, networking slots with DJ Philly Phil on the ones and twos keeping loud base knocking and the crowd rocking. Young motivated individuals came out with energy to entertain, have fun, while exuding an overwhelming focus to show what they had to offer to the community and the world as well.
The trophy winner for the talent showcase competition was Patrick “Paid” Pryce, a young artist who filled the stage with great stage presence and strong vocals. Good job! Good luck with all of your future endeavors.
