After months of hype and speculations regarding Nike’s new NFL uniforms, i will have to say that these new uniforms look exactly the same except with a few minor tweaks here and there. It seems as though all 32 teams retained the same design as this can be looked at as a rough draft for Nike’s first attempt. I’m pretty much sure the geniuses at Nike have more creative in depth designs stored for the future.

The average person certainly will not see any changes made for this upcoming football season; however the hardcore fan will notice slight changes to the collars of a number of team’s jerseys. Some fabrics have changed, the jerseys may be constructed differently, but teams such as the Chargers still have a lightning bolt, the Redskins will wear burgundy and gold and the Cowboys have a star on their helmet.

Seattle’s new jersey are the exception with major changes being made. “The new uniform colors are rooted in Seattle’s own environmental hues; the deep blue of the ocean water that tucks into the harbor near downtown and the Seahawks’ stadium,” Nike gushes. “The new color addition called Action Green represents the green of the ubiquitous trees, ferns and moss literally covering the Pacific Northwest landscape.”

So what do you think Spitters? Yes or No for these new changes from Nike. Did you expect more from this powerhouse company?
