After visiting with several teams such as the 49ers and Titans, Chris Mortensen of ESPN has reported that Peyton Manning has finally made his decision.
Manning will be taking his talents to the Mile High City to join the Denver broncos on a 5-year deal estimated to be worth $95 million. Based on the signing alone, the notion is believed that the broncos will then trade QB Tim Tebow who is rumored to land with the Jaguars.
Although Tim Tebow will be “Peytoned” after being “Elwayed” in Denver, one aspect that we all can count on is that he will have something positive to say regardless of the circumstance.
Manning, who is still getting back to full strength after the nerve impingements caused by multiple neck surgeries, passed the Broncos’ physical last Friday, and apparently passed the physicals administered by the two other teams.
After being sidelined due to this injury, we should all aspect the same Peyton that ran the Colts offense for more than a decade to continue playing at a high level; that is if he is completely healthy and has the same drive and determination to be the best in the league.
