Former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker has been going through some tough life changes since declaring personal bankruptcy in May 2010. After Walker found himself out of the NBA, he soon found himself playing for the D-League’s Idaho Stampede and sharing a $915-a-month apartment with a teammate after making well over $100 million as an NBA player.

Even with that amount of money, which he made more from endorsements, Walker became broke due to his lavish lifestyle and investing in some disatrous real estate deals along with his gambling problems.

At the time Walker filed for bankruptcy, the former star had racked up $12.7 million in debts according to court documents, and had just over $4.3 million in total assets remaining.

To top it all off, he lost his fiancee and the so-called friends through the process. Now as part of bankruptcy settlement, Walker will have to forfeit and sell his only championship in his NBA career that he won with the Miami Heat in 2006.

TMZ has the story and has reported as follows:

According to court documents, Walker had to liquidate his property to pay back his creditors … including his ring. Now TMZ has learned, the ring has been tentatively sold to a guy named Andres Garcia for a cool $21,500.

A judge needs to sign off on the deal before any money changes hands … but we’re told it’s pretty much a done deal.

Fiancee disappearing and losing friends due to bankruptcy does not suprise me at all. Sometimes we only learn once we have made mistakes and gone through life’s trials and tribulations and i hope the best for Antoine Walker in the days to come. I know some will not feel any sympathy for someone who blew $100 million but we are all humans and no one is perfect.
