The suicide of a Moroccan teenager who reportedly had been forced to marry her rapist has spurred calls from around the world to change criminal laws long lamented by Moroccan feminists.

In the old testament in the bible states Deuteronomy 22:28-29 “If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her”.

Moroccan law makers has taken this bible words and turned it into a law, Which  allow someone who rapes a minor to escape punishment if he marries the victim.

Moroccan media reported that was what happened to Amina Filali, a 16-year-old who reportedly swallowed rat poison Saturday.

The government says the law applies only if the victim agrees to marry the rapist, but as we all know most of the time the victims are force to protect their family honor.

Hey, men around the world, Grow Up and start acting like responsible adults by getting rid of this truly retarded, killing law. Letting rapists off the hook by marrying the under-aged raped!
