J. Hansome Born Babajide Fagbuyi migrated from Nigeria to the United States at the age of 12; with hopes of furthering his education abroad. He has always aspire to become a musician and always stand in front of the mirror imitating popular artists like Late Fela Kuti, Sunny Ade and Fuji artist – pasuma.

His love for Rap started to develop after few years in the United States. He started nurturing his talent until he decided to pursue his goals to become the best Nigerian-American Rap artist in the world. He brings a very unique sound to Hip-hop/Rap music and he has been compared to American artists like B.O.B and Nigerian artist Naeto C.

He aspires to become an entrepreneur in the music business while leaving a huge impact in the music industry. His menthols include J. Cole, Jay Z and D’banj. Jide believes that challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.
