I feel as though Ghanaian Football fans have a Love and Hate admiration for their superstar striker Asamoah Gyan. This is the same man that missed a crucial penalty in the 2010 World Cup against Paraguay that could have sent the Black Stars to the Semifinals.
Fans furiously despised him for that and if you know anything about the Ghanaian culture then you know how they feel when it comes to soccer. After that Mishap, the Ghanaian striker made amends by releasing one of the hottest tracks to grace the hip-life scene along with Castro The Destroyer, who is also a well known artist, within the Ghanaian music industry. Fans quickly forgave him but Asamoah Gyan at this point is feeling like he’s living a DeJa vu all over again with another missed penalty in the African Nations World Cup against Zambia. Zambia has not been relevant, as far as soccer in any level of competition, and their recent victory has sparked some interesting outbursts within the nation.
The last time Zambia made any significant ladders in the African cup Finals was in 1994. Due to this, their win over Ghana has brought free prostitution to some of the countries nightclubs such as Lusaka’s Kanyama, John Laing, Chawama and Kalingalinga. A check by The Independent Post (TIP) at nightclubs such as Kanyama’s Kanchembele and Chine Chikayeba found long queues of men waiting to have sex with a limited number of prostitutes.
It was confirmed that a single prostitute served nearly 11 men and there were more than 200 men wanting to celebrate Zambia’s first qualification to the Africa Cup final since 1994 in style. There were even stories of men being beaten up simply because they took too long to orgasm, while hundreds of men were waiting.
One eyewitness in particular was quoted as saying, “Yes, we beat him up because he took too long to ejaculate. There were too many of us on line and the guy kept on wasting time on top of the prostitute,” said the eye-witness, identified only as James.
Although this might seem like a good idea to indulge in, they should have considered the consequences before participating. The possibility of contracting an STD or HIV is very high because not everyone wore condoms and I’m pretty sure the possibility of someone catching an STD is positive (no pun intended). A young man by the name of Tembo even made a public announcement by stating that, “I think when Zambia plays the final, free condoms need to be provided so that we can protect our young men. Many of them had sex with the prostitutes without condoms,”
Zambia’s win over Ghana sent the whole Zambia into wild celebration. This is because the Black Stars are always favored and considered a power house compared to most of their African competitors so a win such as this is huge; hence sending an uproar through Zambia’s Nation. Soccer fans celebrated the win in all manners of ways. Fortunately, no deaths were recorded at the time this story was published.
Coach Herve Renard said that he was happy that Zambia has told the world through the beating of the Black stars that Ghana are still toddlers.
“We’ve won and I am very happy. At least we’ve shown the world that Ghana are toddlers,” Renard said.
He added that Zambia will now be aiming at beating Ivory Coast on February 12 and which they actually did by beating Ivory Coast 8-7 in penalty kicks.
