Beyonce and Jay Z have finally posted photos of Blue Ivy Carter .. which appear to have been taken at their pimped out suite at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC.

The Carters posted a note along with the pics which reads, “We welcome you to share in our joy.”

Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7; days later, Jay-Z released “Glory,” a song dedicated to (and featuring) Blue Ivy that made the newborn the youngest artist to ever appear on the Hot 100.

Sharing photos of the baby is an unusual move for a high-profile couple like Beyonce and Jay-Z who have probably been offered millions of dollars much like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who were reportedly paid $11 – $15 million for photos of their twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in 2008. This way the Carter’s are saying no to hoopla around images of their daughter.
