Thirty-one-year-old diabetic, Frederick Lawrence Allen, was indicted of sexual assault by the Boulder County grand jury after he drugged a woman with insulin medication and raped her. Allen met the victim at a local bar and talked with the young lady until the bar closed.

He then walked the victim home and later told police he left her house somewhere between 4:00am and 6:00am.

The victim’s roommate found her the next evening laying in her own vomit, sweating profusely, naked with only a sheet covering her. She was taken to Boulder County Community Hospital where doctors confirmed low blood sugar levels, severe hypoglycemia and signs of a sexual assault.

Frederick Allen remains in custody at the Boulder County Jail and is scheduled for a hearing today.
