Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. But true beauty is what lies inside and along with it is strength and confidence to express what defines you, something that no one other than YOU can express. So with that being said, What defines you? There has been this misconception that women of color can’t wear vibrant colors. Growing up I’ve heard the statement,”you’re too dark to wear this”, and heard society’s psychotic rantings of light-skinned people being the epitome of beauty. All those words have been silenced! I urge all women of color to open their minds if they have yet reached enlightenment. Woman of color exhibit a strength in beauty that cannot be found elsewhere. That’s why our Red Campaign has been set in full effect! This campaign is a photo shoot implemented to allow women of dark hues to exhibit and celebrate their beauty in their natural hues while using vibrant bright colors to complement their tone. This photo shoot will be release Feb.14.

1. LIP PRIMER-If you have uneven lip tone, using a thin layer of foundation, or concealer will help with tone and balance. You can also use lip liner to help stay between the lines but be sure to blend it well.
2. APPLYING YOUR ROUGE- Many find it easy to direct apply from the tube but you’d be surprise to know using a brush adds the right saturation while helping with precision with placement of color to your lips.
3. NO COLORING OUTSIDE THE LINES- If you colored out your lip line, DON’T WORRY, use a q-tip or a wedge tip from a concealer or foundation to accurately erase unwanted red to have a precise lip line.Once your done enjoy your heightened glamour.
