Everybody’s favorite Basketball Wife (at least I think she’s everybody’s favorite) is in the headlines again but this time its not for her “normal” antics for being a BB wife. I dont even know if that term is even correct because she never even got a wedding out of Antoine Walker. But Evelyn Lozada is enjoying the benefits of a lawsuit a Mrs. sometimes find herself dealing with. Although it seems the relationship has fizzled into the background and both parties have moved on, Walker is still holding on and isn’t backing out without a fight.
Evelyn, now engaged to Chad Ochocinco, is being sued by her ex-fiancé’s creditors who accuse the reality star of illegally receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars. According to reports, Walker has notoriously earned $110 million throughout his NBA career, but somehow managed to end up being an ideal candidate for a pawnshop loan. He finally filed for bankruptcy last year, but his bankruptcy trustee suspects that he knew he was going broke and gave Lozada $560,000 in order to help hide assets. That’s an ex I definitely wouldn’t mind having. Only $560,000? He needs to fund it over this way. I’ll make sure to make excellent use of that money.
Can not even be mad at Evelyn because it is believed that the $560,000 was used to start her shoe store, Dulce. Smart woman however this is where Walker is having an issue and and is suing to get the money back. As usual, both parties deny this, saying he gave her the money to help pay her bills. Evelyn also claims that she sold her engagement ring in order to fund the store and had no clue Antoine had such high debt. Does it even really matter Evelyn? He still wants that money back.
It’s really hard to believe that Evelyn would engage in such shifty behavior especially seeing as how she’s managed to spawn such a successful career as a television personality.
