Do you have that friend or know a person that you’ve always known to be shades dark in skin tone and the next minute they become this whole new person where their hands don’t match their face tone and they’ve become shades lighter in just months?
Skin bleaching isn’t an underground movement in our society and hasn’t been for a while. It’s a process being widely used in the Hollywood scene and the entertainment business, and we all know Hollywood and the entertainment world are the forerunner for fads
However, one beautiful summer evening during happy hour, one of my friends unleashed something she most definitely would not have mentioned while she was sober. She blurts out, “so I’m about to use this coupon I got from my hairstylist for anal bleaching”. I paused with reaction, then my response, “wait, you’re serious?” That response was for two reasons. First, because of the obvious and secondly, they have coupons for this?!
Apparently there’s been a new movement of bleaching. For those who may not know Anal bleaching is a factor and now in full effect in our world. Yes! You read correctly, bleaching of the anus and perinea areas. I still don’t know what to make of this after reading several articles. I mean, this is another potentially health damaging process that people are willing to go through all in the name of beauty? Thinking back when I went to Paul Mooney’s comedy show one of the other comedians opening up for him, forgot his name, mentioned if a woman is going to shave the va-JJ they should also shave the back and I thought to myself okay that makes sense but to bleach these areas to make your partner or yourself look or feel more enticing is now supposedly the move.
Women and Men the same are being rushed to the hospital with fire backs when the process goes all wrong? That’s definitely an awkward case for the ER but of course it happens. Discoloration can be caused by aging, hormones, pregnancy or rough anal sex, calling for the need for babyish or youthful appearance.
The problem is the chemicals, hydroquinone, kojic acid and chemical preservatives such as methylparaben and propylparaben are still in these products. If these chemicals are included in your choice of brand, drop that cream. It will literally tear your layers down! Scary right? – However, if there’s an all natural method of bleaching, all the power to the chooser. I’m pro self modifying, if it’s the individual’s choice it’s their life to live, no judgment here.
What’s the naked truth? Most people knowing about the harmful and damaging effects of bleaching the anus will proceed with usage. I am now convinced more than ever that the need for beauty and perfection is absolutely boundless. With that being said, I urge all bleachers and potential bleachers to fully exorcize all possibilities of using these products before usage. Happy pink bottoms, for the pink bottom seekers.
