When I received the request to write about this topic I immediately felt lumps forming in the back of my throat because what woman can honestly say she knows what men want out of women.

Of course every man is different and would like their woman to cater to their own needs, but what are most men really looking for in a girlfriend or future wife? For this topic, I needed sit down and become a student, a student of relationships, men, underlying needs, etc.

I reached out to my male friends and of course they were too eager to say EXACTLY what they need from a woman sexually, physically, emotionally, etc. I gave myself one week to bring to all the readers the truth about men and wants in a relationship. Unfortunately there is no absolute truth or hidden message we have to discover because, believe it or not, men are telling us what they need or want from us 24 hours a day 7 days a week whether it’s directly or indirectly.

Women are so fearful that they won’t find a good man or they will lose a good man so we plague ourselves with topics such as these. Honestly, we need to stop because all we are doing is getting in our own way. If you are single and reading this I can’t tell you what men want out of women. But I will say all those generalizations are true.

Yes, they want you to cook, clean and all that stuff you hear but it’s more to that. They want you to become a student of them. They want you to know what turns them on, they want you to know who their favorite teams are, they pretty much want you to know everything about them.

When they ask you to watch a game with them or play a video game with them they are (sometimes) inviting you in. They want that best friend they can be cool with but experience love with. Just always remember if you have that special someone he is there for a reason.

If you haven’t found him yet I hope you take some of my advice because I am only reiterating the lesson I learned this week. Don’t let your insecurities and closed mindedness ruin something special.
